SEP 27 - Winning Olympic gold gave Williams her sixth successive
tournament victory - a stretch that includes grand slam triumphs at
Wimbledon and the U.S. Open. SEP 28 - Venus & Serena Williams became
the 1st sisters to win Olympic doubles gold. Venus becomes the only
woman since Helen Wills in 1924 to win both singles/doubles and USA
sweeps both singles/doubles for 3rd successive Games. They crushed the
Dutch 6-1, 6-1 in the most 1-sided final in Olympic tennis history.
