ALASKA
Without a doubt, Alaska is one of the most beautiful places in the world and my summer-of-2001 cruise trip to Alaska was one of my best vacations yet. The lush greenery of Southeast Alaska transformed into magnificent snow-capped peaks as the Sea Princess sailed from Vancouver to Anchorage on a 7-day Voyage of the Glaciers. We saw stunningly blue glaciers in Juneau, Glacier Bay and College Fjord; wildlife by the dozens - humpback whales, orcas, sea lions, seals, bears, bald eagles; nature was at her finest in this 49th state. Promise, promise, promise me you won't miss this vacation of a lifetime! And here to relive my memories of this amazing trip:
