CAMBRIDGE (MARCH 2002)
Aside from being the center of intellectual elites in the British Isles, Cambridge is dotted with  amazing architectural beauty and a cultural history that is almost a thousand years old. Walking through Cambridge is like living and breathing the rich history of British civilization. One can be inspired to do anything here, much less study.

<< ST. PAUL'S CATHEDRAL >>
My winter/spring 2002 London trip was a whirlwind tour of the new Britain - gourmet food (Zaika, J Sheekey, Gordon Ramsay), and bold new architecture (Millennium Bridge, British Museum). The old, familiar London that I knew for two years is aging gracefully and getting a facelift - Leicester Sq, Trafalgar Sq, Oxford St, etc. The Tubes have gotten really really bad though. But at the end of the day, we all love London!
